Build a stronger workforce with apprenticeships

At S&B Automotive Academy, we help employers manage the apprenticeship levy and secure government funding support for both automotive and business apprenticeships.

We're committed to enhancing the apprenticeship journey, creating real career opportunities for both young people and adults.

Our enthusiasm for building partnerships shines through our collaboration with a large network of employers, schools, and professional bodies. Together, we develop impactful apprenticeship programmes and commercial courses that stand out.

Our approach is deeply rooted in aligning our training with the evolving demands of the industry and the specific needs of employers, ensuring our offerings are not only relevant but also provide a significant return on investment.

apprenticeship levy assistance

We can help you to understand how to maximise your apprenticeship levy to make sure you’re getting the best training possible for your business; whether you’re looking to recruit brand new apprentices, or up skill existing staff we can advise you on the best solution.

Employers with an annual pay bill of more than £3 million have to pay 0.5% of this towards the apprenticeship levy each month. An allowance of £15,000 is then applied by the Government to offset against this.

The government will also top up levy payments by 10% in the digital apprenticeship account. If you’re an employer with an annual pay bill of less than £3 million, but have over 50 staff, an apprentice of any age would require a 5% co-investment.
